Hi Panda Lovers
My new home is going great guns and would love to see you there.
You can get your fill of TV, FILM, OP ED PIECES, and BRISBANE AUSTRALIA FOCUSED PIECES.
Some of the popular tv shows I review are:
SMALLVILLE, VAMPIRE DIARIES, NIKITA, THE WALKING DEAD, CAPRICA, FRINGE, BOARDWALK EMPIRE, MAD MEN, PRETTY LITTLE LIARS, HAWAII FIVE-0, COMMUNITY and many more.
Some come visit.
You can also follow me on Twitter where I link my new articles where I talk back to my followers and love to hear your feedback.
Script meeting: So we have Oliver Queen without a shirt? "Actually sir, we have him without a shirt for most of the episode." Good, good. Any chance we can get Clark shirtless? "No sir, but we have AquaMan with his shirt off, AquaMan's wife naked and Lois with a lot of cleavage." Good work team!.
The Vigilante Registration Act goes live and it is under the command of Col Tigh. Seems the cylons survived after all! Oli signs up. AC knows his past, gets captured. Clark tries to save the day and Lois gets into the group. Lots of mushy stuff.
The Silver Age is about to begin.
Nice tie ins back to the old Lex days.
Lois fighting for her man.
Oli being a guinea pig.
Lovey dovey stuff.
Great to see AC again.
Clark’s speech at the end lacked the passion that Lois’ had.
Still doesn’t feel like a cohesive unit.
The Omega symbol… really?
This season certainly took a while to find his feet, but it is finally here. This episode had everything. Overall arc, minor character return, not one, but two super heroes shirtless, and a cylon.
Well of course I have krytonite in my blades. It is also in my breast implants.
Tess goes back to where it all began, and she had no clue what was coming (me either – nice twist!). Lois sticks her nose into Cal-El’s and Jor-El’s relationship in true Lois style. Clark gets his shirt off again. No Oli though shirtless this week (for a change) – in fact, no Oli.
Great backstory to Tess – especially after mini Lex told her how weak she was the other week.
Ohhh supervillan trio, huzzah!
DarkSide may be out of sight but is not forgotten.
Lois and her mum (nice HT to The Adventures of Lois and Clark by casting Terri Hatcher as her mum).
Tess’ real family.
Clark having some family time.
Super ninja girls with Kryptonite weapons – like you do.
Bit contrived – felt more cartoony that many episodes for a while.
I still think Granny Goodness is just a stupid arse name.
Overall this was a nice episode, that tied up some things and opened some new doors – it was all about threes. Lois, the General and her mum; Lois, Clark and Jor-El; Clark, Lois and his Dad; Clark, his Mum and his Dad; Tess, Granny and her real father and the Dark Trio. The only non-three was Clark and Tess – and as such I kept expecting Oli. I do look forward to our Dark Trio in coming weeks and hope Clark can stop moping around and step up. Even since Clark came out (so to speak) Lois has been the strong one in the relationship. A bit too fillerish and cartoony for me to truly love this ep, but still a nice little romp.
Unusual aliases was the underlying theme of this episode.
Michael is off on his own revenge laden off the books mission. Nikita and he join forces. Nothing goes to plan, professionally or personally. Nikita reaches out and Michael reaches back – to a point.
Michael backstory – was great to see his motivators.
Nikita and Michael buddy cop/assassins.
Awesome shoot out scene.
Great hand to hand work.
Really plot and implementation.
Percy being Percy.
Great overall dynamic between Nikita and Michael.
The recruit arc was a bit weaker this week – but then the action really had nothing to do with them.
I don’t want to say too much and give away this episode.
Yet again another fantastic episode. Good to see Nikita is now on GO! You really must check this show out – why it doesn’t get advertised I have no idea. This episode had been in, hook, line, sinker and copy of angling times. Hope is lost. There is just vengence.
Ms Double Standards is smitten.
Elena gets what might be the truth from Katherine. Elijah isn’t as gone as we thought. Lots of new info. Damon gets lucky. Katherine backstory. Jeremy gets cockblocked.
Caroline being the best friend she used to be again.
Big Bad is back and a Bigger Bad is on the way.
New characters with their own webs.
New twists and turns.
Uber vamp powers activate!
I think it is funny how I dised the early dismissal of Elijah – he really is a big bad, if not the biggest bad.
Didn’t feel any chemistry between Damon and Rose – but then it was just sex – for now.
Overall it was a smooth episode – just the right mix of tension, multiple story lines and backstory. This episode continues the theme that every African American in Mystic Falls is a witch/warlock. Katherine’s motivations, if they can be believed, make her much less one dimensional. Very nice indeed.
Cross and Double Cross.
Recruit Thom becomes an agent. Nikita finds herself involved in a more complicated situation than she bargained for. Alex really is becoming Divisonalised IMHO. Awesome lead up for the back half of the series.
Really good plot with twists and turns I didn’t expect – in fact I loved it.
Awesome household item fight scene.
I liked how the recruit story interspersed with the main arc very nicely this time.
Do we really think Nikita would trade one demon for another?
Alex being way too manipulative for my liking.
I think this is going to be one of the last Romance Free Nikita’s. You may remember a few weeks back I said that they were hiring a clean cut all American guy to be Nikita’s love interest. I expect those episodes to start hitting us soon. Such a shame – but better a romantic Nikita who kicks butt and has revenge tattooed on her heart than no Nikita – though I am curious as to how they will balance it, given that the death of her lover was her main driver in leaving then working to bring down Division.
Pappa Lane (The General) and Lucy Lana (conniving little sister) show up at the Kent Farm for Thanksgiving. Clark is tested. Lois is tested. Lucy is tricked. The Blur saves the day.
Was so sweet seeing Lois stand up for Clark.
No Chloe in credits.
Wasn’t a whole lot going on… just a tad about the resistance.
Bit of a filler episode but still some very fun moments. I enjoyed watching it, but it hasn’t left much of a lasting impression. The ongoing theme of being ambushed was actually well done. That alone gets one of the two pandas awarded to this week’s amusing but forgettable episode.
Hi there. My name is Nikita and I am here to help (aka bring down Division)
Nothing it really what it seems, even when you think you know the truth.
Brilliant Michael development.
Was good to see Nikita in the background.
Alex really stepped up.
Great story idea – neat twists and turns all the way through.
Owen backstory and intersection w Nikita.
Percy seemed a bit “off.”
Was really hoping to see Owen and Nikita buddy cop.
Dang this show can deliver. Action, drama, tugging the heart strings and possibly misplaced hope and trust. I am so pleased Nikita got the full season run. If the second half of the series is half as good as the first I am going to be one happy panda.
Ok, for this scene I need "tortured love, brooding, whimsical, contemplative and handsome?" CHECK!
We pick up hours after Elena’s kidnapping. The Originals. The Petrova Doppleganger. The Big Bad. Tyler learning about himself.
Nice to see Caroline and Tyler interact.
Jeremy and Bonnie bonding.
Rose smacking Elena – I wanted to right then too!
Really all that build up for 5 mins?
Action was a bit meh.
Not the strongest of eps. Lots of dialogue which I thought was really setting us up for the next few weeks – but was all over in moments. Maybe this ep was the lead up to the roll through of the back half of the season. I hope so.
I didn't know shows still used this as a fade out for sex...
Lois revels in having her own superhero.
Clark continues to be over protective.
Someone spiked the coolaid (water).
Lois steps up.
Clark becomes uberer.
Lex will always be Lex.
It was great to see the banter between Lois & Clark.
Lois driving the solution.
Nice twist on the usual plot.
They finally had the s word.
Tess’ realisation and decision.
Some of the guest acting was a tad hokey.
Not sure about the new twist on Blue Kryptonite.
Part of the set looked way fake.
Overall this was a good episode the further explored the Lois &Clark dynamic, especially as the cat is out of the bag, so to speak. I really, really liked how Lois didn’t just give up, whereas Clark was defeatist – Lois never did. I have to say though, the fade out scene of the two hands entwined was so kitch – we have seen a lot more than that – anyone else remember Lex and his sex romps and murder?
